Vacation
Wow! So much has happened in the last few days! We took our first family vacation with Sebastian to NY to go to Brenda's wedding, visit family/friends and throw the 50th wedding anniversary party for my parents. We decided to fly to NY since I didn't want to drive especially with Sebastian in the car. What an adventure we had getting to NY!!!!!!!!!!! Sebastian had such a great time in the airport and on the plane. He just had a ball!!! He loved the plane ride and all the new stuff to look at and play with on the plane. The window shade, the tray on the back of the seat, the stuff on the ceiling, the ding ding noises and the seat belts. He had his own seat but, we cuddled a lot in my window seat looking out the window and playing. He ate very well on the plane as well. In the airport he went on an escalator, in an elevator, on a train and went through the security gate check. There was just so much that happened in such a short amount of time, he just had way too much fun. Then we went to Brenda's wedding. He loved that too. Had a lot of fun, loved the music and the lights. He actually fell asleep in my arms for an hour and I danced on the dance floor with Fabe while holding him in his adorable suit. He finally woke up and then ate and then it was time for him to go home. Really time for him to go home. It was just way too late and he needed to just go to sleep in his bed. By the time we got back and he got to sleep it was 11pm. OMG! What a night! He is back on schedule now and hopefully, will continue... Yesterday, we went out to lunch with my parents and my mom's friends. They loved seeing him. He was bored and wanted to GO! So we finally left and he never took an afternoon nap. Which was fine since he actually went to bed on time. So we will see what is in store for us today! We are using disposable diapers while we are here and so far so good. I also ground his grains for him before we left and cooked them when we got here so that worked out great. I had ordered some organic food that is dehydrated and we just need to add water so that was easy transport. I just miss giving him the actual food that I prepared for him. And he misses eating finger foods. Oh well. We will get back to it when we get back home.
